Llangors Multi Activity Centre,

Just up the road from The Red Lion, the Llangors Multi Activity centre offers a variety of fun activities for all the family.
They have an amazing Climbing Centre with activities such as Abseiling, Zip-Wires, Bouldering, and Cave Crawling. This is a great location for both experienced and brand new climbers, with their 70 degree bouldering wall and top roping on either regular walls or real rock.
Alternatively, they have a very popular Horse Riding centre which also is welcome to all ages and abilities. They offer half day or full-day rides across the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog hillsides.
Llangors Lake Boat Hire,

There is a range of water activities to take part in on Llangors lake, this includes; Rowing, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Canoeing, and Exploring the lake on a Pedaloe.
The boat hire hut on the jetty is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekends and school holidays, between Easter and mid September. Rowing boat hire can be arranged at reception during weekdays when the boat hire hut is closed.

This small family-run horse riding centre, offers spectacular riding through the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog. They offer relaxed pony treks for complete novices and families wanting to sightsee on horseback, to exclusive 5-day exploratory long-distance trail riding holidays for accomplished riders.
This is truly an amazing way to cover long distances through the stunning scenery of the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog, and see parts of Wales you would never got the chance to see otherwise!

Bannau Brycheiniog
There are limitless places to explore in Bannau Brycheiniog, and walking is one of the best ways to find some hidden gems. From the village we have two popular walks from the Cockett including Mynydd Llangors or more the more strenuous option, Mynydd Troed. Alternatively, there is a flat walk which goes half-way around Llangors Lake to a beautiful bird hut which was opened by the Prince of Wales in 2012.
In the neighbouring town of Talgarth there is an amazing waterfall walk named “Pwll-Y-Wrach” as well as the old Bronllys Castle.
The most popular option is Pen Y Fan which is a 25 minute drive away, and it’s the tallest mountain in South Wales at 886 metres above sea level. Furthermore, the link to the left has an extensive selection of walks that you can choose between that works the best for you.

Enjoy a scenic canoe trip down the River Wye, starting in the village of Glasbury, you have the option to canoe to the famous town of books Hay on Wye, or further down the river to Whitney on Wye.
Fully immerse yourself into the natural beauty and don’t worry about how you’ll get back up river; Celtic Canoe’s have mini bus’s that take you all the way back up river to where you began!
